Alaninate SC30-5 is a very gentle surfactant that is based on the natural amino acid L-Alanine. This anionic amino acid surfactant is made from L-Alanine and coconut oil fatty acid. Alaninate SC30-5 has good foaming properties, especially in neutral and weakly acidic conditions. It produces a rich, creamy foam. In combination with cationic polymers it can be a great conditioner, giving a perfect hair/skin feel. Alaninate SC30-5 is a good moisturizer and has 30% solid content and 5% sodium chloride. 

Allantoin is a metabolic intermediate in most organisms, which is produced from the oxidation of uric acid. Well known is the occurrence of allantoin in the roots and leaves of the comfrey plant. The comfrey extract has a long history to promote wound healing and skin soothing. Allantoin can also be synthesized and is identical to the naturally occurring Allantoin. 

Allantoin is a skin protectant with anti-irritant properties and skin nourishing benefits. It promotes the renewal of the skin by enhancing desquamation and removing dead skin cells, which helps in softening of the skin. It aids in wound healing and cell proliferation and reduces skin irritation. Bakuchiol is a phenol-like substance which is derived from bakuchiol seeds, mainly from the Psoralea corylifolia plant. The powder is a bio-based powerful anti-oxidant with anti-aging, anti-acne and antibacterial properties. Bakuchiol finds its application mainly in decorative cosmetics and skin care, and primarily in creams, oils and emulsions. The effects are similar to those of retinol (vitamin A), however in light conditions, stability of bakuchiol is even better. Due to lower risk of skin irritation, Bakuchiol is a good alternative for all skin types, especially sensitive skin. It has a shelf life of 36 months.

Behentrimonium Chloride is a cationic surfactant (also known as docosyltrimethylammonium chloride or BTAC-228) widely used in hair applications. Providing antistatic and conditioning properties, Behentrimonium Chloride spreads easily on hair and imparts gloss, shine, and softening effects. It offers good wet combing enhancement and volumizing effects as well.

Benzophenone 4 is used in many cosmetic applications to protect against sunburn, in anti-aging facial care products, and in hair products. It can also be used as an emollient and an ingredient to prevent cosmetic products deterioration from sun exposure. Benzophenone 4 can be formulated into after-sun, self-tanning, color cosmetics, lip care, nail polish and body care products. Betaine CP30 is an amphoteric surfactant, manufactured from hydrogenated (hardened) coconut oil and is preserved with 0.3% sodium benzoate. It provides excellent viscosity and gives foam boosting characteristics to anionic based cleansers. It is commonly used in shampoo formulations to improve conditioning effects for the hair and reduce static build up. Betaine CP30 is stable and efficacious over a broad pH spectrum and is suitable for cationic and anionic surfactants.

Betaine CP38 is around 25% more concentrated than typical grades of this material which makes it hostile to microbial growth, eliminating the need for a preservative. Betaine CP38 is a high active grade of cocamidopropyl betaine made from a low odour and low colour feedstock. It is stable and efficacious over a broad pH spectrum and is suitable for cationic and anionic surfactants, plus it is readily biodegradable. This self-preserving betaine is manufactured from hydrogenated coconut oil and is an amphoteric surfactant often used in applications like skin serums, skin/sun creams, skin toners, fabric detergents, and laundry detergents.

The cold press production of our broccoli seed oil is highly resource-conscious. It uses unsprouted broccoli seeds that used to go to waste as the material for the cold pressing, to produce broccoli seed oil and broccoli press cake. The cake which remains after pressing is ground and used as exfoliant or as flour. The cold pressing production method ensures that a high percentage of the nutrients remain in the broccoli seed oil. Alkyl Benzoate is the benzoic ester of C12-15 fatty alcohols with carbon chain lengths ranging from 12-15. It’s a commonly used synthetic ingredient with a proven track record in cosmetic products. This emollient acts as a wetting and dispersing agent while being highly spreadable. It is a very common component for sunscreens and decorative cosmetics due to its ability to disperse UV filters and pigments. In addition C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate is used in a variety of skin care, body care, hair care and decorative cosmetic formulations. In cosmetic ingredients, C12 15 alkyl benzoate in skin care, functions as a popular non-oily emollient and skin conditioning agent. CDEA85 is a non-ionic surfactant with 85% actives that is based on palm oil. It is also available in RSPO grades. It's mainly used as a foam booster and foam stabilizer, but it can also be used as an emulsifier or thickener. CDEA85 has low free DEA content and is certified for a variety of things like Halal, Kosher, and GMP/HACCP. CDEA85 works exceptionally well in boosting and stabilizing the foam created by anionic formulations. Common applications are shampoos, face cleansers, hand & body washes, and shower gels.
