What is broccoli seed oil? Broccoli Seed Oil is an oil extracted from the seeds of the Brassica Oleracea Italica (broccoli) plants. Being high in omega 6 & 9, the oil created by cold pressing the broccoli seeds is nourishing and known for outstanding non greasy moisturizing properties. It is also very hydrating and improving the retention of moisture by the skin and hair. It is often used in hair care products like solid hair-masks, and shampoo and conditioner bars. In addition, it can be used very well in a wide variety of skin care products. It can be used for all hair and skin types, including sensitive skin, acne-prone skin, and is especially effective for dry hair.
The cold press production of our broccoli seed oil is a nice example of upcycling and recycling without wasting precious materials. Broccoli seed is normally used to grow broccoli sprouts and broccoli plants. Only seeds which do not sprout, which used to be wasted are used for the cold pressing. The cold pressing results in broccoli seed oil and broccoli press cake. The cake which remains after pressing is ground and used as exfoliant or as flour. The cold pressing production method ensures that a high percentage of the nutrients remain in the broccoli seed oil. Our broccoli seed oil does not contain preservatives and is 100% natural.

IngrePol PEG-100GM has a flakey, white appearance and acts as a supplemental emulsifier. It also modifies viscosity and improves stability of the emulsion. Behentrimonium Chloride is a cationic surfactant, also known as docosyltrimethylammonium chloride or BTAC-228, is widely used in hair applications. Providing antistatic and conditioning properties, Behentrimonium Chloride spreads easily on hair and imparts gloss, shine, and softening effects. It offers good wet combing enhancement and volumizing effects as well.

Glyceryl Stearate SE is an anionic self-emulsifying base that is widely used in a large range of various cosmetic applications such as eye creams, sunscreens, eye shadows, hair care and lotions. An excellent foam booster, foam stabilizer and viscosity modifier, IngreNox M25T is often used in the formulation of shampoos, foaming bath products and for improving conditioning features in shampoo formulas. It also exhibits synergistic effects when formulated into anionic / nonionic surfactant systems.

IngreNox L30 is a foam enhancer, emulsifier, foam stabilizer, wetting agent and viscosity builder. Used in the personal care, home care and textile applications, this multi-functional product is hard water tolerant and also acts as a wetting agent and dye dispersant. IngreSil EMU MA is a 35% cationic macro emulsion of amino functional silicone polymer developed as a conditioning additive for hair care products. Imparting a silky sheet and soft feel, this additive can offer color protection in hair products, and also can provide styling benefits and excellent conditioning effects. Showing improved deposition and substantivity over other dimethicone fluids, IngreSil EMU MA is easy to formulate with and provides dilution stability. This opaque, low viscosity emulsion has a neutral pH.

Ingresil EMU MI is a non-ionic emulsifier and conditioning agent recommended for use in aqueous based hair products. This high molecular weight amino functional silicone polymer can be used in transparent shampoos, hair treatments, masks, conditioning shampoos, hair sprays and other hair products. It provides silky feel to hair, helps add volume, eases dry and wet combining and also enhances shine. Ingresil EMU MI is easy to formulate with and can be used in clear end-products.

Ingresil EMU 60 is a 60% anionic emulsion of Dimethiconol and TEA-Dodecylbenzensulfonate. Used as a conditioning agent, this material improves wet combing, enhances shine and imparts a soft feel on the hair. Extremely stable and easy to use, it can be formulated into shampoos, conditioners, and styling agents. Ingresil EMU 60 does not affect lather and is recommended for shower, bath and body applications as it provides a silky, luxurious after-feel to skin.

Ingresil D5 is a clear, colorless and volatile polydimethylcyclosiloxane widely used as a base fluid in a wide variety of formulations. Providing excellent spreading properties and enhancing glide, this emollient provides a smooth, non-greasy feeling to the skin. Compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients, Ingresil D5 can be used in skin care products, make-up (eye shadows & mascaras), antiperspirants and hair serums and conditioners.

Diazolidinyl Urea IPBC combines Diazolidinyl Urea, which is one of the most effective antibacterial agents, and Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, which is a powerful antifungal preservative. The blend ratio provides for a strong, broad-spectrum protection against antimicrobial activity with a very low amount of preservative required. This system works over a wide pH range and does not affect the appearance of the final product and is an excellent alternative to parabens.

DMDM Hydantoin 2000 is an excellent preservative offering color stability and clarity in formulas with no problem of crystallization. It is a bactericide, mild fungicide and offers the lowest free formaldehyde preservative option. DMDM Hydantoin 2000 has good alcohol and water solubility and can be applied in many cosmetics formulations from mascaras, make-up foundations to hair mousses and body lotions. 

DMDM Hydantoin 55% is a 55% water solution. Cost effective and easy to use, this preservative system provides excellent bacterial and fungicide product protection. It can be easily used in a broad range of personal care products and provides color and heat stability. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic systems.

Ingramaben PD2 is an antimicrobial preservative system with broad spectrum activity that is highly effective against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and mold. It is a clear, viscous liquid and is convenient and ready-to-use. It minimizes the problems associated with incorporating solid parabens. It does not change the appearance of cosmetics, and it can be used as a very cost effective preservative due to its low use level requirement. Ingramaben PD2 is compatible with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic cosmetic ingredients.

Ingramaben PD3 is a preservative system that is extremely powerful with a complete spectrum of antimicrobial activity. This product is globally approved in rinse off cosmetics. The combination of preservatives in Ingramaben PD3 reduces the amount of preservatives needed to effectively preserve against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. It can be used in the pH range of 3-9, and is soluble in alcohol, propylene glycol, water and polar oils. It is slightly soluble in mineral oil.

Ingragard BDA is permitted for use in natural and organic cosmetics in accordance with the Natural Certified Cosmetics organizations (COSMOS, Ecocert, BDIH and Soil association approved). Ingragard BDA is a gentle and effective preservative system based on nature-identical substances. Broad spectrum activity of anti bacterial Benzyl Alcohol and antifungal Dehydroacetic Acid particularly in aqueous applications such as oils and surfactants. It is very cost effective with higher efficacy and can be used in a wide range of cosmetics with slightly acidic pH. A cosmetic ingredient frequently used in skin care, decorative cosmetics, body care, baby care (baby wipes) and hair care products and raw materials.

Easily incorporated into a broad range of cosmetic formulations, Diazolidinyl Urea has a high efficacy against bacteria. It causes no changes in the appearance of the formula, is highly cost effective, and is highly effective against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria, as well as molds, and a limited effect against yeasts. Stable and active in the pH range 3-9, Diazolidinyl Urea is an excellent preservative for many cosmetic applications. Diazolidinyl Urea is also available as a blend with Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate and it's called Diazolidinyl Urea IPBC.
